CalFest and the Visalia Downtowners will be hosting a one-day workshop on Thursday, September 17, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Visalia Marriott Hotel.
This special workshop, customized to fit the needs of festival and event producers in the Central Valley will feature three main topics.
Ray Pulver, CalFest President, and owner or Upbeat Parade Productions, in San Jose, will lead you through the benefits and importance of networking with examples from his own professional life and provide you with tips on how to network most successfully.
At the request of festival and events producers in the Central Valley, representatives from the Tulare Health Department will educate attendees on the rules and regulations regarding food service and event production and the department's interpretation of the state health department laws. Come prepared with a list of all of your questions.
Following the networking lunch, Constance Aguilar, of the Abbi Agency in Reno, will bring her years of experience in digital media to teach event planners how to maximize their social visibility. As this is an ever-changing landscape, even if you've attended previous sessions, there's sure to be something new and exciting to learn.
