Annual Banquet/Installation of Officers – January

This Awards Banquet is an installation of new board members, as well as an honoring of those who have completed their terms on the board.  Also included are the awards recipients for Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Small Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year.

Cars on K Car Show – April 

Thousands of spectators will descend onto the historical downtown streets of Tulare, lured by the glittering of chrome.  This is the hottest annual car show in the region.  The popularity of this free event is legendary and offers great food, prizes and the biggest gathering of remarkable cars in the area.

State of the City - May

Held annually, the State of the City Address is an informative presentation by the mayor on city and county activities.  This luncheon is traditionally held at Edison Agriculture Technology Center.

Buy Tulare First Community Expo – June

Designed to embrace the community spirit of “buying locally”, this exciting business expo is designed to showcase the variety of products and services available in Tulare.  Admission to the expo is free to the public.

Salute to Dairy – June

An annual luncheon held by the chamber to celebrate the lifeblood of our community, the dairy industry.  This event continues to grow each year as the community embraces the industry that formed our city. 

New Educators Reception – August

Hosted by the chamber each year, this enjoyable luncheon gives the chamber membership a chance to welcome the new educators to our area.  It is also a time to form partnerships and to familiarize new educators with Tulare and the resources available to them. Goodie bags filled with items donated from local businesses are presented to the new teachers at the conclusion of the event.

Leadership Tulare – September – May Each Year

Leadership Tulare is a prestigious program that has educated leaders in Tulare for over 18 years.  Classes are scheduled once a month and run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Electives are held four times during the year on various weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  One of the highlights of the class is a two-day trip to Sacramento.
