Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias Receives $5,000 Donation from Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation
Check presentation to be held Sept. 19 at Visalia’s Sprouts Farmers Market
as part of a national event
VISALIA, CA (Sept. 17, 2026) On Saturday, Sept. 19, the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation will present a donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias at the Sprouts Farmers Market located in Visalia.
Keith Stump, CEO, will receive the $5,000 donation on Sept. 19 from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation.
“Healthy kids are better prepared to learn, grow and reach their full potential, and that is why partnerships like this one with the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation are so meaningful,” said Keith Stump, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias. “This $5,000 donation will help us provide Club members with opportunities to learn about nutrition, healthy choices, and overall well-being in ways that are engaging and practical. We are grateful to Sprouts for investing in the health and future of young people in our community.”
Nationwide, more than 550 nonprofit partners will share $2.75 million in funding from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation. Across all 500 Sprouts stores in 26 states, local schools and nonprofits will receive donations – all awarded at the same time on the same day through in-store check presentations. Known as Sprouting Healthy Communities Day, this annual event helps build the connection between Sprouts stores and their communities and has become a day of celebration.
These grants support initiatives that provide children and adults with access to nutrition education, gardening and cooking programs, and other resources to support healthier living.
