Nominations Now Open for Tulare County Quilts for Patriots Program

The Tulare County Fair, in collaboration with the Valley Oak Quilters Guild and the Tulare Chamber of Commerce, is now accepting nominations for the Tulare County Quilts for Patriots program. This annual tradition honors local veterans with a handmade patriotic quilt, presented as a symbol of gratitude for their service to our country.

The selected veterans will be recognized during the Veterans Appreciation Day Ceremony on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 12:30 PM at the Tulare County Fairgrounds. Each quilt is lovingly crafted by members of the Valley Oak Quilters Guild and presented before family, friends, and members of the community in a heartfelt ceremony.

Nominations are open now and must be received by August 15, 2025.

This initiative is limited to one nomination per veteran and immediate family. All selected honorees must be present and checked in by 12:00 PM on the day of the ceremony.
