The Center for Irrigation Technology at Fresno State is hosting an educational event at the Tulare County Farm Bureau Tuesday, October 24th from 9:00 am -1:00 pm. This seminar will include industry experts discussing the history of sorghum, if it can work and its challenges in California. Fresno State has been growing sorghum on its campus, and its researchers will be there to discuss what they have learned over the past three years. In addition, you will learn what kind of incentive programs are available to improve your pump efficiency. The educational manager of Fresno State's Advanced Pumping Efficiency Program will be available to give attendees ideas on energy conservation in California. This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided to those who register in advance.
