Tulare LockUp for MDA

The event is a business luncheon called the Tulare Lock-Up. We invite business owners, community leaders and managers to be “locked up for good” by our off duty local police and firefighters on October 6th for one hour. They police will bring them to Cool Hand Luke's were they will enjoy lunch and network with others from Tulare while fundraising for their bail. We ask each "jailbird" to try and raise $2,000 to send a child with muscle disease to a 100% wheelchair accesibale Summer Camp. The have spent the last several weeks trying to raise their “bail” using the tools MDA provides such as a webpage that people they know can go to and donate to their bail. We make this simple and easy for busy people in the community to help a local cause. All the money raised help send local kids with muscle disease to a week long summer camp were they get to make friends and memories that last a lifetime.
