Visalia PAL Resolution 5K
WHAT IS YOUR RESOLUTION FOR 2018? DO YOU WANT TO GET FIT? ARE YOU WANTING TO IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNITY? WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP CHILDREN SUCCEED? Then you want to participate in the Visalia PAL RESOLUTION 5K on Monday, January 1st at 9 AM. A free run for kids begins at 8:45 AM. This 5k race for runners and walkers follows a popular route through downtown Visalia starting and finishing at the Garden Street Plaza on Main Street. The funds raised through this race will send deserving kids to PAL (Police Activity League) Honor Camp next summer in the Sequoia National Forest. The beautiful finisher's medal can be earned by everyone registered and completes the 3.1 mile course. Age groups awards are given in five year increments through age 80 +. The event costs $30 before December 29 and $35 December 29 to the date of the event.
